Gadag
In the second phase , the PLF training was organised at Gadag Marata Vidyavardhaka Sangha on 22_ 25 January 2018. Here, Formal Valedictory function was organised instead of an inaugural, where the Member Secretary of District Legal Service Autority ,Ms. Renuka Kulkarni participated. Prabhavathi Betageri was the President.
Sessions were on Domestic Violence Act, POCSO, Sexual Harassment at Work Place Act, Marriage Acts, Marriage Registration , Child marriage Property act etc..Merlyn Martis, Uma Barki, Prabhavati, were the resource persons. Mehbub, Tayakka, Rekha Bhandi were the resource persons for the demo grassroots training. 25 women and 5 men were participated.
Koppala
At koppala training was held on 14 to 17 December 2017 at Sarvodaya Integrated Rural Development Society. Inaugural function was attended by B. Shrinivas, the member secretary of Legal Service Authority. Lawyer Hanumanth Rao, Merlyn Martis were present.12 men and 20 women have participated.
Sessions were on Domestic Violence Act, POCSO, Sexual Harassment at Work Place Act, Marriage Acts, Marriage Registration , Child marriage Property act. Merlyn, Prabhavathi., uma Barki, Fakkiramma Lakkundi handled the sessions.
